A KEEN walker has tackled the Great Glen Way to raise vital funds for the Ayrshire Hospice.
Last month, Ian Allan took on the 75-mile route that stretches from Fort William up to Inverness, all in aid of the end-of-life care charity.
A delighted Ian raised a fantastic £550 to support the charity's services.
A hospice spokesperson said: "Walking enthusiast Ian Allan tackled the Great Glen Way last month in aid of the Hospice.
"Ian braved the Scottish spring weather walking the route, which follows the country’s greatest geological fault, and raised an amazing £550.
"Thank you so much Ian, we hope the scenery made up for the blisters!"
