TROON outclassed their North Ayshire rivals with a commanding performance at Hosiery Park on Saturday.

The match kicked off at 10.30am and Troon were looking lively from the outset. It wasn’t long before they scored on their first attack in the second minute, Lewis Foy netting, assisted by Troon’s new signing Blair Philips.

Troon FC, however showed some excellent fighting spirit and this resulted in the half-time scoreline reading 5-4 for Troon, with further goals from Prentice, assisted by Connor McGowan and the McGowan with an assist from Douglas McKinnon.

The second half started and it was all one-way-traffic as Troon stamped their dominance on the match with another five goals Jack McKinnon scored with Cameron Hunter assisting and McDougall scored with Gregor Droy assisting. Philips scored with McDougall assisting and Hamish Quinn scored with Ewan McMurtrie assisting.

Prentice then scored a great solo goal - picking the ball up on the wing and after a mazy run slotting in the tenth. KSC did score a consolation fifth goal.
